Jesse Ingman Biography

Jesse Ingman is an expert programmer and the founder and production manager of Zerphinx Productions LLC, which was created in 2012 by Ingman and his partner to market audio driven mechanics.
In other words, he created a system called Sphinx that digitally generates unique images based on sound inputs. It is revolutionary and still in the process of being patented, etc, but his images are inherently beautiful artworks too.
He graduated from Arapahoe Community College with an Associates of applied science degree in game design and development, and his vision for Sphinx is to create a “secure currency designed electronically that helps people.” He explains that Sphinx “creates randomized data useful for security, health and other data.”
The art Ingman creates using Sphinx is multi-faceted. “With 72 current scenes composed of 16 objects, each unique from the last. These objects intertwine with 20 backdrops with 256 bit color and physics properties. It never repeats, ever,” says Ingman. Ingman’s goal with his art is to “inspire you to do more and expand on your horizons while also introducing you to parts of you that you didn't know.”
Ingman was born and raised in Sedalia, Colorado, and he wanted to become a scientist. His heritage includes family from Sweden and Germany, and the Native American peoples.
Throughout his life, he has been interested in technology and art; coupled with his passions for protecting human rights and sustainability, it is easy to see how this mixture of passions resulted in his desire to build Sphinx. Today, Ingman can be found tinkering with upgrades for Sphinx, displaying his images and vision with passerbys, connecting with folks at the local bakery shop in his hometown Sedalia, Colorado.
